My name is Vika Barva, and I’m a personal stylist.
I’ve been passionate about fashion and everything related to it since childhood. I started by drawing and sewing clothes for my dolls, then moved on to helping friends pick out their outfits. I earned a degree in technology and design, which gave me a strong foundation in color theory, an eye for proportion, and a deep sense of style.
Not long after university, I took a break to raise my children — a journey that lasted six years. During that time, I lost touch with myself and how I looked. My daily wardrobe was jeans and T-shirts in the summer, sweaters in the winter. One day, I realized something was off — I didn’t like how I looked, compliments had stopped, and everyday life started to feel dull and colorless.
While trying to solve that for myself, I thought — how amazing would it be to do what I love and help others feel beautiful in the process? As my kids grew older, I finally had the time and space to follow my true passion. I went on to study styling at the International School of Style and Image by Nadya Ageeva, the Sweet Jumble School for Personal Shoppers, and the Image Makers School by Ekaterina Malyarova.
Since 2013, I’ve been working professionally as a personal stylist. I’ve built over 800 wardrobes, helped more than 1,000 women through my digital style products, co-founded the Ukrainian Association of Stylists, and regularly teach masterclasses. I’ve been a speaker at festivals, a stylist for Ukrainian TV and radio, an award-winning professional, and costume designer for the film “Wife at a Discount.”
Through my work, I’ve learned that respecting personal boundaries is key — it’s the core of my approach. That’s why I always work with sensitivity, tact, and deep attention to each client’s needs and comfort. Of course, true beauty lies in personality — but like it or not, we are all judged at first by what we wear. And I’m here to help you make that first impression shine.
So happy to have you here — welcome to my website and my world!
